This Privacy Policy describes how the American Health Information Management Association ("AHIMA") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our community platform at Hivebrite (the "Platform"). 4.   HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

1.   With vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;

I.    DATA RETENTION

We store the information we collect about you for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it. We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.

7.   CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

7.1 Child Safety Standards

The Platform is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of children. Any explicit content or child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is strictly prohibited on our Platform. We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations and ensure all content shared within the Platform is appropriate for a mixed audience, including children.

7.2 COPPA Compliance

The Platform is not directed to children under 13 years of age. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.

7.3 Moderation and Reporting

User-generated content is moderated to prevent inappropriate material from being accessible. Any CSAM content will be automatically removed when flagged or reported through our moderation features or if we are directly contacted for this purpose. We will systematically take action to report confirmed CSAM content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
CSAM consists of any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

8.   YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

8.1 Account Information

You may update, correct, or delete your account information at any time by logging into your account or contacting us. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
